As a member of the Spring community, your designs may engage with people from many different backgrounds and perspectives. While we support freedom of expression, we are also committed to maintaining a safe and respectful platform.
To support that goal, certain types of content are not permitted on Spring.
Spring reserves the right to delay, shorten, or terminate any campaign based on content concerns. The guidelines below provide examples of content that may result in campaign removal or account action.
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Spring Terms of Service, which govern your use of the Spring Service.

Hate Speech and Harassment
We do not allow campaigns that promote or glorify hatred toward individuals or groups based on:
- Age
- Race
- Ethnicity
- National origin
- Gender
- Gender identity
- Sexual orientation
- Disability
- Religion
This includes people, organizations, or symbols dedicated to hatred against protected groups.
We also prohibit content that bullies, attacks, or threatens specific individuals.
Nudity and Sexual Content
We do not allow pornographic content in any campaign, including explicit or extreme depictions of nudity or sexual activity.
Any exploitation or presentation of minors is strictly prohibited.
Non-pornographic artistic depictions, including tasteful photography or fictional works of art, may be permitted.
Violence or Harm
We do not allow content that promotes or glorifies harm or violence toward individuals or groups. This includes:
- Support of self-harm
- Incitement to violence or harassment
- Praise or reverence of terrorist organizations or figures
We also prohibit harmful misinformation, including content known to:
- Encourage harassment or violence
- Impede civic engagement
- Threaten public health or safety
Content raising awareness or showing support for victims of violence or tragedy may be permitted, provided it does not violate intellectual property rights.
Medical Claims
We do not allow medical or medicinal products, devices, or services on Spring.
Listings that claim to prevent, cure, diagnose, treat, or reduce any illness, disease, symptom, dysfunction, or condition are prohibited.
Misleading Claims
Campaign content — including images, titles, descriptions, and URLs — must not be false or misleading.
This includes:
- Misrepresenting affiliation with a person or organization
- Providing false information about product origin
- Misrepresenting who will receive campaign proceeds
Campaigns raising funds for charities must have proper authorization and must clearly disclose the percentage of proceeds and the intended recipient.
Illegal Activity
We do not allow campaigns that promote illegal activity. This includes:
- Instructions on how to commit illegal acts
- Encouraging unlawful behavior
Political speech or discussion of controversial topics may be permitted, provided it does not promote illegal conduct.
Intellectual Property
We do not allow campaigns that infringe upon the rights of any third party.
This includes unauthorized use of copyrighted materials, trademarks, likenesses, or other protected content in:
- Campaign descriptions
- Titles
- URLs
- Images
- Merchandise designs
